M4 FX operates the website at www.m4fx.co.uk. By using the website, you confirm that you have read and agree to the website terms of service.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not continue to use the website or place an order through it.

Service eligibility and availability

The service is available only to people aged 18 or over who live in and access the service from the United Kingdom.

Click & Collect and Click & Sell services are available at our Dagenham branch and only for currencies listed on the website from time to time.

Currency ordered through the service must be for genuine holiday or business travel purposes and not for speculative, investment, or similar activity.

Availability may be affected by stock levels, currency exchange restrictions, order size limits, and customer compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason. If a cancelled order has already been paid for, a refund will be offered in line with the applicable refund terms.

Delivery, collection, and verification

When placing an order, you confirm that you are acting on your own behalf for a genuine purpose, that the currency involved is legally and beneficially yours, and that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

You agree not to withhold material information and to provide any additional information we may reasonably request to process your order or satisfy compliance checks.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and we may refuse to do business with you at our sole discretion where we cannot complete the required checks.

Rates are those notified to you at the time of ordering through our automated confirmation process. We reserve the right to amend a quoted rate if the market moves by more than 1 percent within 24 hours of the order being placed. Online pricing is indicative until your order is confirmed.

Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel your order prior to collection by contacting us on 020 8262 2041 or by emailing contact@m4fx.co.uk during our published opening hours.

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the same payment method used for the original transaction. The exact timing depends on the payment provider and can take up to 20 days in some cases.

Delivery charges will not be refunded once an order has already been dispatched.

Cash payments are generally non-refundable once a transaction has been completed. Where a refund is agreed, the applicable buy-back rate may be used for the calculation.

Buy back and currencies accepted

You may use our service to sell unused foreign currency back to us. You do not need to have originally purchased the currency from us in order to use this service.

We buy currencies displayed on our website in note form only. We do not accept foreign coins.

Scottish notes are generally not accepted, although we may choose to accept them at our discretion and subject to a 2 percent adjustment.

If you want to sell a currency that is not shown on our website, please call us before visiting the branch so we can confirm availability.

Identification and payment requirements

We may require identification before completing a transaction. Acceptable documents can include a valid passport, UK driving licence, or European ID card.

In some situations we may also ask for proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank or card statement dated within the last 90 days.

Customers may be registered and their identification scanned where required by law, by card-payment policy, or once a transaction reaches the relevant threshold.

Payment can be made by card or cash. Cheques are not accepted. Some card types or transactions may carry charges or require additional checks, so please confirm the position with our customer service team before ordering if needed.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse a transaction if the information provided does not satisfy our regulatory or internal compliance requirements.
